GoodWe Lynx D Serices 5kw Battery

 300,000

The GoodWe Lynx D Series is a 5 kWh high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery module designed for residential solar systems. It delivers up to 5 kW peak power, supports 100% depth-of-discharge (DoD), and features IP66 protection for robust indoor or outdoor installation.

Description

The GoodWe Lynx D Series (Model: LX D5.0-10) is a modular, high-voltage (HV) lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery system tailored for home storage and backup applications. Each module offers 5 kWh of usable energy, making it ideal for residential solar systems aiming for energy self-consumption and reliable backup.

Designed for flexibility and future expansion, Lynx D modules can be stacked in parallel, and the system supports up to 8 modules (40 kWh) for larger energy needs. The modules are self-detecting and enable “mix-and-match” of old and new packs, making expansion or replacement smooth and cost-effective.

Safety and durability are central to this design:

  • Uses LFP chemistry which is inherently stable and safe.

  • The enclosure is rated IP66, protecting the unit from dust and heavy water exposure, which allows for more flexible installation (outdoor or semi-outdoor).

  • Built-in smart control includes remote diagnosis and firmware updates via the connected inverter, plus auto-reboot after undervoltage events.

In terms of performance:

  • Nominal continuous power: 3 kW

  • Peak power: 5 kW for 10 seconds, useful for handling high inrush loads.

  • Operating voltage: 320 V to 480 V at the output.

  • Temperature range: Charging from 0°C to +53°C, discharging from –20°C to +53°C.

For connectivity, the Lynx D uses CAN communication, making it compatible with GoodWe hybrid inverters and enabling system-level monitoring.  The unit weighs around 52 kg, and its dimensions are 700 × 380 × 170 mm, suitable for either wall-mounted or floor-stacked installation.
