The GoodWe Lynx A G3 is a reliable, high-performance lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery tailored for residential energy storage and solar backup applications. With a usable capacity of 5 kWh from a nominal 5.12 kWh pack, it provides a compact and efficient solution for homes looking to maximize self-consumption and maintain power during outages.
Each Lynx A G3 unit includes an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safety, reliability, and balanced performance. The battery supports parallel scalability—you can connect up to 30 units, allowing system expansion up to 150 kWh, making it a highly flexible choice for growing energy needs.
On the power side, the battery can discharge continuously at up to 150 A, with a pulse discharge current of <200 A for 30 seconds, enabling it to handle high load demands. Its maximum continuous discharge power is 7,200 W.
In terms of efficiency, it boasts a round-trip efficiency of ≥ 96% and a long cycle life of more than 6,000 cycles at 70% State of Health (SOH) and 90% Depth of Discharge (DoD).
The voltage operating range is 43.20 V to 58.24 V, and it supports CAN communication for seamless integration with compatible GoodWe inverters. Temperature operating ranges are:

Each unit is fairly lightweight at 44 kg and has a compact design (442 × 133 × 520 mm for the core part; up to 483 × 133 × 559 mm total). The enclosure is rated IP20, so it’s better suited for protected / indoor installations.
